Hi @Nobody1 you feel frustration. What I feel is RAGE. Rage may be a big word but that's what it is. You know what of all players you definitely deemed more deserving to be in this all stars.

You've time and again requested, complained, contacted necessary ID's to get into this tournament. I'm a new player and I'm at level 4881. I feel fedup sometimes playing this games when i cannot power through certain tough levels. But you're at the end of map i could only feel how much Patience, PRESEVERANCE you must have had to be there at the end . playing 4,5 and 6th stage and seeing how far it takes you may be important to you. My point is you've every right to be in this tournament after you've played fair.

King should value all its players. When an event as big as all stars is happening there should be enuf staff /workers at king disposal to answer/investigate the queries alone. When these unfairness happens I feel like argh 🤬. I'm feeling sorry for you i don't think they want you in this tournament this time😭. I lost someone id it's gigzz or some other player stated their id got reviewed and they were in this tournament and after playing some level their all Star event gone missing. Unfairness at its finest.

Ps. I'm not evil but I want king to have tummy upset for 1 hour😈 for all the mental stress he/she is putting me thru.

Pps Edited - I'm sorry king for wanting you to have tummy upset. What if you're an elderly and need an assistance while walking. Or you could be using a walker. I'm taking back my words. No tummy upset for you.

I think 80 seconds per level is kind of slow. I can manage close to that with just regular boosters like lollipops and free switches, but it seems like the best results last year were closer to 60 seconds per level. I don't see how I can manage 60 seconds per level without a party booster per level (or maybe super color bombs, if I had them, which I don't think are available in the Star Tournament? I haven't been offered super color bombs in weeks, not even for the new levels). That's the only reason I don't think I have a chance with my current inventory.

I guess it is true that if 80 seconds per level is really fast enough, I am not as well off as you with your 10,000+ boosters of each type, since I can't buy that many with my current gold bars. Your strategy was a good one - save the boosters rather than go for the end of the map. I wasn't thinking ahead to All Stars - I just wanted to get to the end of the map - so I spent my gold bars on the way to finish the map quickly. I hope you are right about 80 seconds per level being fast enough - I wish you the best and am rooting for you - please keep us up-to-date on how you do - I'm looking forward to seeing how far you will go!

Thanks for asking me about this. This is something I have tried to figure out in some of the tests I have run. It was a tricky one to test out because it depends on what starting boosters/win streak boosters you have to start with and what strategy you are most comfortable with, so it is really difficult to answer. Many of the most purple rich levels are deliberately made to be so easy they finish within a few moves if you play starting boosters on a win streak, even more so if you have a super colour bomb. It can become clear after one or two moves that we have a lucky board. If we try to draw out such a level we will score more purple for that level. However this comes at a cost: It takes more time and how much more time it takes will depend on how you play. For me personally I have found that the difference is not significant, I achieve roughly the same score per hour using either method. In fact if I use boosters liberally, such as using a party popper in every level (depending on the type of board either early on or near the end) I score higher using the speed method. But it may well be different for others using a different strategy.

I would liken the All Stars competition to a mid to long distance race in the Olympics and athletes like Mo Farah. The strategy of the eventual winners is to not take the lead early on but to stay within the front group making sure there is not so much to catch up. Each runner knows their sprint strength. In the last 400 metres then it is time to sprint. In Candy Crush this would mean using a booster saving strategy if this is enough to keep me in the lead or just off the lead. I know my sprint strength is about 180,000 -200,000 purple per hour depending on my level range. So if I see others sprint then I will have to sprint with them and use those party poppers to speed through the levels.

King may also throw so-called "events" at us like the "pins" they have tested out and are now threatening to introduce to more players, which will slow the fastest players down by making the animations between levels so lengthy that they take up more time than the levels themselves. This is yet another way in which King can influence who wins the final leaderboards: Give the best players the events with the longest animations they can't tap to skip through. If they do this to you, then drawing out each level may become the better strategy.
