I cannot connect to the Play store to install / update Saga. Says 'no Internet connection ' ?

Is there a problem with CC Saga today? Won't update or re-install

    It's your network problem or device problem. Nothing happened with CCS

    It's the only app that doesn't work.

    Phone, WiFi etc all good.

    Hey there! I hope you're doing well.

    I understand you're having some trouble connecting to the Play Store to update your Candy Crush Saga app. Could you please tell me which device you're using (Android, iOS, Kindle, Windows, Facebook (Browser))? That way I can send you some troubleshooting steps so you can try to see if it helps fixing the issue.

    Hey again! Thanks for replying and letting me know.

    Could you please follow these steps:

    Close all apps and restart your device:

    • You may need to tap Restart > Restart.
    • Check and update your Android version and the game app
    • Temporarily free up space by clearing app's cache. This is a short-term solution. Over time, cached data will build up again. To clear cache, please go to Settings > Apps > Candy Crush Saga > Storage >"Clear cache" *ONLY*
    • Make sure that you have sufficient memory on your device. We recommend having at least 2GB free - to check this see this link
    • If possible, log out from your account in the game.
    • Delete your Facebook and Messenger app (in case you're signed in through Facebook instead of Kingdom)
    • Now, this next step is really important: I need you to log out from your Google Account: 
    • Access your Google Play Store 
    • Select your Profile picture in the top right corner 
    • Tap on the account currently sign in or tap on the triangle icon next to it.  
    • Tap on Manage accounts on this device
    • Select the desired Google account and tap on Remove Account (do not delete)
    • That will not delete your account, it will only erase it from your device which you can then easily re-add later from this screen. 

    After you do that, would you be so kind as to:  

    • Restart your device (turn it off for a few seconds and then back on) 
    • Log back into your account in Google Play Store by following the above steps but this time adding your Google account back. 
    • Update your game. You can check if yours is the latest version by searching for the game app in the Play Store. 
    • Log back into your Facebook/King account in the game. 

    This should fix the issue, but if it doesn't, please let me know. Thanks in advance and have a great day 🌞

    Hey there! I hope you're doing well today.

    I'm sorry to hear the steps sent didn't work. Don't worry, I have some other steps you can try.

    From what I could gather after checking your account from my side, you're connected through Facebook to save your progress. Could you please try these additional steps?

    • Disconnect from VPN (if connected).
    • Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi and vice versa.
    • Uninstall the Facebook app, and login to the correct account in your browser app.
    • If possible, check if the error shows when performing the same actions on another device.
    • Reset your device's network settings.

    I hope this helps, but if not, at that point I advise consulting an IT technician as they will have direct access to your device and therefore be able to actually check everything, which is something our team cannot do from our side, sadly. Thanks in advance and have a great day! 🌞
