Difficulty with level 5049

I am playing level 5049 on my iPhone and can’t get past the final gummi dragon on its own in the left hand column. I get it down to the bottom but then nothing seems to break the bar to let it through and win the game. I finally gave in and used gold bars to get 95 extra moves and still it wouldn’t shift. I have never had to use this amount of lives to win a game, and this was using two boosters as well. Does anyone know if there is a glitch with this level.

The video is old and has more moves than we have now, but it demonstrates how to drop down that dragon in the left hand column by making a color bomb and stripe combo. A candy in that column is turned into a vertical stripe that hits the horizontal bars, which allows the dragon to come out.

I think that if you make a striped and wrapped combo at the bottom of the main board so that the bottom bar is caught in the middle of the blast, it will also be removed.

I think that if you make a striped and wrapped combo at the bottom of the main board so that the bottom bar is caught in the middle of the blast, it will also be removed.
