Build a Bot boosters available for previous levels

@pvalla2 you are luckier than most to have had the old bot for so long. I have had no bot at all (for about 2 weeks) and then the new bot for about 2 months now. Also - I liked 606 because you didn’t have to scroll down so far and also u won it in 3 moves. 😊

Amen to all of the above. Those of us who have made it to the top levels deserve a reward. Reinstate the Build a Bot for previously accomplished levels.

@bearwithme I was told that they are randomly chosen. I just have no clue what system they choose for this.

Your comments remind me of the old "bait and switch" method that some retailers have used where they would advertise an item for a certain price, and when customers would come to the store to purchase that item, it would "no longer be available" but there would be a similar item for a higher price that would be available. That, of course, is unethical.

I am at level 4510. Today is the first day where I can no longer get boosters via the bot by playing lower levels. It’s frustrating that King would do this to players who are at the higher levels. Having the bot boosters is what makes playing fun and passing the more challenging levels doable. Please put it back. Why are you penalizing your higher level players? I bet that almost all of us think every week that this will be our last and we’ll stop playing. When you do things like change the rules for the bot (so we use more of the boosters we may have paid for) or suddenly change the cost of getting gold bars from 60 for 2.99 to 30 for 2.99, all it does is make you look greedy and uncaring about your customers’ experience. And it makes us all think about quitting and telling all our player friends about why we are quitting. It appears that you are willing to trade long term revenue for short term goals. Please put the old bot back.

Hi Carol_Martins, it's another testing thing. I don't understand how it can take so long to make a decision whether it's a go for everyone or not.

Ok, I will admit something that will upset king. I have never spent money on this game, and I never intend to. I play it for amusement, I have actually managed to move a few levels since I first came to this post so am still playing, but it will not be the end of the world if I end up giving up, I will simply find another game.

@Elsa - interesting. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. From comments I have seen on fb and other social media concerning ccs - it appears there are various things only some people get and others don’t (like the ribbons or the daily race or even Didi).

I read your strategy link, and I certainly understand it. I have always striven to get 3 stars and will play a level repeatedly until I do or until I realize it can't be done. Building up enough boosters to pass one level and move on is not a strategy that will work for me, and I still believe new players will drop off in more numbers the more complicated and time consuming it gets to pass levels. One of the levels I played regularly to get sugar drops, 654, was a level that was not super easy to pass but certainly not a difficult level. It was recently made ridiculously easy. Why is King using its resources in this way? If it needs money so desperately for CC that it is forcing players to watch ads to get boosters and build up a booster stash over time to play one level, maybe it's time for King to move on to other endeavors. I will not continue to play the game with its current Build-a-Bot configuration. I am very sad and disappointed, but I will get over it.

As a side note, I used to try to pass levels in one try to get the golden crown. To do so, I would sometimes buy 60 gold bars for $3. A few months ago, when King changed it to 30 bars for $3, I decided passing in one try was not worth spending even more money, so since then I have purchased gold bars I think 3 times. My point is that sometimes money strategies backfire, and I have a feeling this new Build-a-Bot will be one of those times.

There have been so many problems with this video thing. So many players reported it freezing or not opening at all. Others have complained that the video content is bad if a young child sees it. @Carol_Martins I don’t get any ads either but I think they only get them if the play Win10 (just a guess on my part). I play other games (not King) where I can watch ads (usually for other games) and gain coins etc.

They are already aware of how much I want it to change back. The Community Manager comes here all the time to see what everyone is writing and she is passing this along to the studio. most frustrating is after earning max boosters on build a bot by winning 10 in a row, i woke up two days ago all build a bot progress and boosters gone despite fact still on a winning streak, have not played since turned saga in to pure luck with arbitrary sabotage by CC utter bs

After I changed my Strategy in Playing Candy Crush Saga, I find the Build-A-Bot Challenge Fun & Rewarding. It is doable. In 2 days, I beat 29 Levels and currently I am #1 in my Facebook Leaderboard. It might change but I am hoping I can stay on till Sunday to win the Weekly Gold Race.

What I don't understand is if the reason so many new players drop out of CC is the difficulty in passing levels, how does this Build-a-Bot benefit King? The percentage of dropouts will increase with the difficulty of passing the levels.

@louiseT well at least you got the boosters even if you didn’t get to use the free cb for an hour (5 different times). I have had several times when I have done the Candy Quest and then never got the three boosters.
