You were a few weeks out with your guess @MannyFae It's not just this one. I made a note of some frog levels whilst I played them recently and so far I have not found any of them.
This might be the end then.
(Edit: 29July 2025 The order of all levels has been changed. Initially I mistakenly thought this was the removal of all the frog levels but instead it turned out to be a new way to group all the hardest levels at the beginning and end of each episode. This is also discussed here:

Yes, absolutely. Have they reached a point where they are ready to completely disregard player experience?
I understand they are tweaking the game to extract the most money, but why do they think that clustering harder levels near the end will bring them more money?

Goodness me @steventseng, I hope not! I mean, I hope it's not the reason. I still see my go-to levels: They are still in the same episode but in a different place. You'll need to look at the easier levels in the same episode and I guess note down the new level number.
I think what King are experimenting with is whether it's better for their income generation if episodes are ordered in such a way that the harder levels are clustered near the end. Some of my starting levels are harder as well, but then there are many level which are easy to pass, in fact I find those stretches really boring and then the harder ends of the episode aggravating. It's not a wise move, whatever the reason I think. Mixing level difficulty up is more satisfying in the game. If that's what is here to stay they are making a big mistake.
In fact I think leaving the AI in charge is by itself a big mistake. Those AI written levels post 18,000 are grim @MannyFae I am fast losing the incentive to even carry on with the game to level 20K. The newly released levels are just so dull!
My level count is also messed up, and I can't complete the chocolate box quest with old levels unless I get them back, maybe that's what King intended.
My levels are now muddled up too; the whole game, it seems. This morning, everything was in order. Is it just us, or is everyone's game like that now? If this is a test, what is the purpose of such a test for King, I wonder?
Oh no, that's really frustrating. Such a shame they're not coming here. Maybe they will and then you can answer their post! I can't believe King aren't removing that one from the game. I think it just shows that AI is now firmly in charge, and it seems to not have "intelligence" to notice they've forgotten that one.

So this test group I'm in must be testing something out about how keen I am to keep my win streak. The early levels of this episode were so easy I was definitely going to approach the first nightmare level with a full candy necklace. Alas, this one is broken: It changes from this
to this:
It would appear that by swapping the level around here King have also had swap the candy necklace around to accommodate how many colour bombs I will see on my opening board! This is also shown by the strange occurrence of a timed colour bomb appearing in my game out of nowhere:
This is the first nightmarishly hard level in the episode which I have played and failed multiple times. I got the timed wrap/stripe from the fishing boat feature, but that timed colour bomb has just appeared from nowhere. I'm not sure what time it started at, it might have been 20 minutes. But there was no explanation of why it appeared. It must be part of the messed up levels and it just not computing quite right. But well, it keeps me amused and interested I guess.

My test group is one where all the hardest levels have been put near the end of the episode, and levels 2-10 of each episode are easy to pass and then the levels get harder and harder up to the end of the episode.
They did it twice to me, first at 6000s and then at 12000 range. The 12000 range was subsequently changed for everyone.

Thanks to your help and tips: In fact they HAVE rejumbled the levels and that is why I didn't find the ones I had noted down when scrolling back, because the are all a different number. It looks like the frog is not dead after all. It's still there in level 8774 and I've even found level 8064 now: It's my level 8061! Thanks for clearing this up. It's not quite the end then and hopefully it won't be and it will still be worth trying to catch up.
I wish I knew if there was any point carrying to try to outrun the AI rewrite.
This so reminds me of how the Nothing is spreading in The Never-ending Story by Michael Ende. I can't stop thinking about that movie. I don't think I reach level 15K before the Nothing reaches it, and it's gone, all gone.
It is true that quite a few levels in that range have been replaced with piles of blockers, but apparently there were not many frogs in that particular stretch of levels. The next board that is supposed to have a frog is this:
It would be interesting to know if it shows up in the same episode somewhere.
Also, have you come across this board?
Of all the levels I have passed, the 15k range has the most frogs.
I haven't found an interesting level yet @MannyFae . I may be a test group, but all my interesting levels are gone. I'm playing level 8787 now and it's like this:
I think you're right that some levels are muddled up. I get the YouTube version of level 8787 as 8789. But all my frog levels are gone.
Christine, my level 8064 is still unchanged. More so, your level 8064 is my level 8063. (It looks too puzzle-like to be a recent design, so I did some digging.) And according to videos, it's what level 8063 looked like all along.
It's likely that this is another instance of a test group that has all levels in a different order.
In fact, it's not just the frog.
Candy Crush, the game we used to love, has been brutally murdered this week.
The very levels I played these past few weeks (8000-9000), that I enjoyed playing, have now gone and been replaced by boring bash the blockers levels like those we see in levels 1-3000. It feels like some AI virus is eating the brains out of Candy Crush. I cannot bear to see this. How can King possibly think this is a good idea @QueenB ?
