I still despair. On opening my game I get an animated card/poster whatever you want to call it and it stays there for ages. I make it my mission every morning to send a decent amount of lives to those in my Friends List. And as many of you know once sending one lot we have to stop the game app and reopen to send again. These are just some of what I got this morning
Who knows if they'll ever find their way back home and evn if they did how would that make our game better.
So what. Maybe Bubblegum Troll should wake up, stop living under a bridge and have a word with the King developers. Have a quiet word in their ears and tell them the majority of players are adults and left nursery school a long time ago.
What Kind of helpful information is this that sits on our screen for far too long. Get your act together King and start listening to all the helpful feedback we send on serious matters that need looking at in the game. As said the majority of us are adults and been playing the game for years, so it's time you grew up and started listening 👂 😖
Ooh thanks @Peaches12 🤗 It's not my opinions I'm thinking of stopping, as I believe that's one good reason for having the Community to share our opinions. We might not always agree on what someone else says but that's what makes us all different and everyone has an opinion. It's the bothering with feedback that's making me think why do we take the time to bring what we can see would be really helpful on certain issues. And not just for the players but for King themselves as well. Many of us have given a lot of feedback over the years and hope that King will consider what we put. But to date as I put in my last post there are only 2 things that I can remember it working with and 1 of them has now been changed/removed again. My main gripe is we actually take the time and put what we really think would help the game being as we are playing it, but we don't even get the courtesy of a reply, even if it's to say thanks but no thanks. With regard the sending of lives, that wouldn't cost King anything money wise as we would still only have the maximum of 20 lives we could use. But to actually send lives all in one go could be sorted, I'm sure of that, we had it before and it would give all more time to play the game. 🤣😂 bet you're wishing you hadn't sent me your post now, I do go on 😅
I hope you continue to post your opinions on the game. They are valuable and I enjoy reading them. If only King would listen. For the new pop-up, it isn't so much the time it takes, but the perceived time it takes. I'm sure that if they give this to everyone, it will cause lots more complaints in the community on not getting the full time on timed boosters.
I'm kind of finding it a teenie weenie bit difficult now to give feedback @QueenB 😕 You see there are many things that have happened in the past that don't make sense to a lot of us. One being the ability to send lives to all our friends in one go. Apparently that was removed to make more space on the system, so was that more space needed to store all the pop ups we now receive? Apart from the never ending boring, impossible levels which obviously need looking at, there are many other things we have sent feedback on. And to be honest the sending of lives is a real issue. Not only does it take a long, long time to send lives, a lot of players, not in the Community don't know how to send them. Yes they will see the Friends List at the bottom of their map but how many know they need to actually click on each friend in their list. I think many just look at the list and think, why don't I receive lives from any/many of them. I know this isn't what this thread is about but it's one of the reasons I'm considering not bothering with feedback anymore. It would at least be helpful if when giving feedback, we then get proper feedback from the Developers or Studio so that we know one way or the other what they think and what they are deciding to do. The only 2 things I can think of that feedback made any difference on was Sneaky Melon Duck and the Milestone Banners. Now both of those required an awful lot of work by those in the Community and Sneaky Melon Duck was sorted. So was the Milestone Banners but after all the work done for that, they took it away again.
This may be my last bit of feedback now, until we hear about the other issues that many of us have posted about have been looked at and answers given.
So this is my feedback re what this thread started about. There is no point to it, as you said the new design has shorter animations and when clicking on play it pops up then it's gone without actually getting a chance to read properly what it says. I only know what it's actually about because as I said in my post above I took a screenshot to see what it was all about. So the best thing is to have it removed from where it has been placed at the beginning of each level and just keep it as a pop up when opening the game.
Long one I know and sorry about that, but we really do need to start getting proper feedback back 😉
I despair as well with the game @Carol-38 . Look at my comments on the latest releases…… I've never seen such garbage in my life. I think they must just know that players want to reach the milestone and instead of giving us challenging levels they just make them to use up as much gold and boosters as they possibly can.
It's only because I can take quick screenshots with the device I play on that I know exactly what it says. After seeing it pop up after clicking play on so many levels I thought, right get ready for a screenshot next time, that way I'll see what it's all about. Now I hope I haven't put the wrong thing and they now think, oh we'd better make it a longer pop up. It really isn't needed but there you go another one of King's mysterious changes 😕
Agreed @christinewupp the only improvement needed to the Did You Know pre-loader is to remove it.
I much prefer the 'blank' space before a level than the repetitiveness of the DYK screen information.
I don't have this feature yet but in general I think it would greatly annoy me regardless of whether it wastes time. The "Did you know" pop-ups always annoy me, because of course we all know. I feel that these pop-ups should only be shown to players near the beginning of the game @QueenB . It's irritating and even insulting to experienced players to be told such pointless info.
Thanks everyone for sharing your feedback on this. I’ve passed it on to the studio, and they confirmed this is part of a test they’re running with some changes to the loading screens, both when opening the app and before playing a level.

It has caught up to me now @Carol-38 and I am receiving the new Did You Know at the start of every level.
I am not sure if it is actually wasting more time as the new Did You Know is taking up the dead space that used to exist between pressing play and the level you are playing starting.
That is, there was always a delay between pressing play and the level loading that used to be filled by a colourful blank (ish) screen. It seems to me that this new Did You Know has been inserted to replace that blank screen.
Ummm @Alienscar possibly. I get it when opening the game, but to get it when opening the game and also when clicking on play on any/every level is a bit OTT. Maybe it's a blip with the system and will sort itself out. Or maybe they've decided to give us another regular pop up to waste more time on timed boosters 😕
Seeing the games that have annoying screens like that "Did You Know?" is actually irritating because you are overloaded and every fact to them you say "Yes" (like I do) 😕

I've had Did you know? for all the boosters. And my answer to all of them is Yes 🙄
I can confirm that I am seeing the new screen before every level, although I am only playing old levels right now, not new ones. I noticed it for the first time this morning.
Fortunately, it seems to go away faster than most of the typical pop-ups. Still irritating, though.
That's is odd @Carol-38 I only saw that new screen before the main Play screen and not before every level.
I thought it was just some kind of pre-fetch screen caused by a slow connection to their server.
