Why can’t you complete a level without having to buy gold?

Question

I have played this game for many,many years. I am currently on level 18319 and until recently have never had to buy anything to complete a level, just be patient and you eventually gat something to help you complete. So what has changed? Have the Developers decided that you have to buy gold to finish every level? The levels are to difficult to complete without using extras, and there are no free extras available. I’v spent zero in the last 17 years and £13.94 in the last month. Do you just want us old timers to stop playing?

Hello @BillyH The thing that has changed for you must be that you have come to "the Wall". This is usually about 2000-1500 levels from the end of the game. When players get there the game turns on them, as King are expecting everyone to pay up gold now to get to the end of the map.

You may also have found that since you made the one off payment in the game yours ads disappeared. This is another way King try to earn more from long time players.
