sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)
Hi, first time posting. I just reached the end of the map and super disappointed that the star tournament does not count as ´new levels’ for chocolate box. It was expected but I had still some hope
so basically not much to do for me until the release of new levels and m chocolat box will elapse.
At least I have been playing less this week with this new impossible chocolat box
thanks @FluffyDinosaur and happy to provide feedback on this choc box change or more importantly, the general approach to changes to the app.
It seems to me that any feedback from the punters is totally ignored. Moreover, changes are made without any consideration to those playing. These are the people that actually contribute substantial $ to King by watching ads.
This change to the choc box will probably be the last nail in the coffin for many players.
Maybe that’s the idea…..

Thanks so much for highlighting the issues with the Chocolate Box and having "new level wins" quests for players who are at or close to the end of the map. I'll be forwarding this to the game studio!
Also want to second what @MountainMom has said, the Moderators here in the Community are players just as you that are experts on the game, and help us out in better understanding what you all want/like/dislike about the game.
Also I want to add, please always keep the feedback coming - the more we hear from players the better and easier it is for us to feed it back to the developers 😊
Well said @Jumpery my sentiments exactly. Whoever is running the show at King just doesn't seem to get it. I've said it before, I'd love to be a fly on the wall at one of their whiteboard, tea, coffee, biscuit meetings. Just a small fly though otherwise they'd hear me laughing 😂
King don't seem to find the balance between keeping their players engaged, happy, encouraged (to watch ads, spend gold, spend money) versus annoyed. Taking away the parts of the game that bring joy and replacing them by stressful challenges no one really got time for in a brute effort to make one more buck is embarrassing. People will pay money if a game offers an entertaining balance of fun and (sometimes) complex challenges. If there's no fun anymore and the money grabbing is this obvious, why would anyone want to pay or even keep playing and watching ads for that matter? King, get your head out of your a- wallet and think about the future and not just the next buck. Seriously, is everything run by short-sided venture capitalists now?
Yes, it just happened to me today. Now it's impossible to "earn", for example "purple" in older levels.
Hello @cwgames99, I have noticed a number of changes in the map view for Candy Crush Saga. Some items have been moved from the "Events" section to the sides of the map. Such changes are also affecting daily login streaks. I don't expect them to be permanent, but I share your frustration with such changes. I will ask our team for details.
@MountainMom I very much appreciate the effort you put in as a volunteer and in no way did I criticise the amount of time you spend in this chatroom.
It just seemed as though this particular issue, being a large thorn in a vast number of the community, had not been addressed by anyone until I tagged you.
since yesterday, I no longer see the “events” icon on the bottom of my maps screen. Currently I have no access to the chocolate box. Is this change permanent?
Hi @Charleyfarley, Moderators are not given advance notice regarding changes made to special events or levels in Candy Crush Saga. Consequently, I, too, am surprised about changes to the chocolate box, but assume this is more testing being done by developers.
As volunteers, we do not keep regular hours, so I apologize if you are disappointed about how much time I spend in this Community. However, please be assured that I forward issues to management when they appear to affect many players.

That to me is the strangest part. One would think King's primary goal is to keep people in the game and active, but these chocolate box changes would seem to do the exact opposite of that, driving us away from spending time in the game.
I might as well sit it out and wait for it to expire (4 days)
I would’ve thought it was in King’s interest to have me watching ads/ playing rather than not being involved
But what do I know ?
So I completed the 2,960 blue candies at a great cost ; a complete episode later and copious gold squandered
My reward ? 4th task, 22 unplayed levels

Hi, collegeamoco. I have seen that problem a number of times - it even happened to me once yesterday. I have found that closing Candy Crush and then reopening it, and then opening the chocolate box, usually allows it to advance as it should.
The only change I have so far is that it won't update, ie go to the next one when the old one is completed. Example: collected 6 hands but won't move on to the next choice. 😔🤷♀️
Agreed. At least there is hope they have left some ability to navigate this change.
