sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)

I'm going to keep my 🤞🤞🤞🤞the recent changes aren't permanent. What an awful change to something that had already had an awful change 🙄
Events do line up though @christinewupp you have gone through all of the Chocolate Box tasks and landed on one that is of no use to you, whilst you could have chosen a task that suited your game. I guess King is trying to create a Box that suits different scenarios.
The real issue is that once you have discarded a task you can't change your mind. All that is needed is what we have asked for since the introduction of the new Box. Let us be able to change task when we want like it used to be.

How can they expect old players - in the years they've been playing, not age, to stick with this game. I haven't got the changed Chocolate Box yet, but keep expecting it each time I complete one. It's certainly not 'sweet' 'relaxing' or 'relieving stress', just expecting it, so it must be awful actually having it. If I do get it I'll have to book a spa session, and so will @QueenB because I would be bashing out my feedback. I'll do a little bit now but if/when I do get it I'll do a proper one.
How on the earth do King think this is a good change, maybe the developers should book a spa session, relax and download the app to have a play so they can see what they have done to the whole game. Give them a couple of days playing and they'd need to book another spa session, or they'd just uninstall the app.
I get why many are saying if it could be played through the Star Tournament that would be helpful. But again there are a lot, like me who don't want to play the Star Tournament. So what King should really be doing is just putting it back to where we can chose what task we play and stop mucking about, changing it to an unfriendly, unplayable format.
Expect to get it soon unless the developers do start seeing sense on how awful it is and change it.

Hello @leeann79 and Welcome to this King Community! The developers are constantly testing new features in King games. The recent changes to the chocolate box might not be permanent. 🤞
I really can't be doing with this nonsense: I started a new game at the weekend, am on level 196 and have this new chocolate box. I've scrolled through the gold tasks and the last one is this:
This is just great: This game doesn't have a win streak! I still don't know if it's intentional or a glitch, but neither of my two new games have got any candy necklace yet. So asking for this is nonsensical. What is a new player supposed to make of this? I asked Kingsley, the friendly chat bot, for help and he didn't seem to know what a win streak or a booster bag is. Slim chance of me getting the gold. I'll give up if the win streak doesn't appear by level 200. How can they expect new players to stick with this game if it's broken like this and if the events don't match up?
This task counts bonus moves from Candy Necklace as well.
FWIW my box is still 25 gold (and has been since I started this thread - was 8 for the initial silver box)
I’ll likely complete this today when new levels are introduced so we’ll see what offers I get on the new box
Yes, I also have a feeling that I'll end up with a 20 gold box soon.
I guess you may be also be getting a fourth task option that won't award these, ending up with 20 bars if you finish the box with that task option someday. But currently you get a 4th task that all options give the extra 5 bars.
I didn't use timed boosters for that, no. I have over 3000 of each of those boosters saved up from watching ads, so I was fine using them. They worked for me on old levels; it's possible that's the difference.

Hi @T0rr1e are you saying that the timed color bombs is counted when you pass a new level only and can't fail it?
why have you changed the rules of the chocolate box requirements, when it’s the only everyday thing you can do to earn rewards?
Does anyone know the difference between “activate boosters” and “use” boosters? As in the top two options above? Why use different language there?

This one I had timed freckles and it worked in new levels. I tried it in old levels with the timed booster but it did not work, so only new levels. These unnecessary changes are so annoying. It also only counts when you pass the level. 😐️
Oh, Oops, I missed that yours had the bonus gold bars. So that explains the difference.
They're certainly keeping us on our toes.
And boosters from inventory do count indeed. The logic here is probably that you have to either play new levels or spend something from your stock. If timed boosters were counted on old levels, it would be too good.
My chocolate box offers 20 gold plus 5 extra gold for the last task, so I think I may indeed be in a different test group. Also, I have only tested timed boosters on old levels so far; I will check how boosters from inventory work once my timed booster runs out.
