Build a bot.

Build a bot is awful. I hope we get a chance to start winning moves on old levels. Clearly nobody is a fan of this update. I wish, and hope these complaints are sent over to the studio.

This has not been true for me for several days. I complete a level that I have never completed before complete with the celebratory screen and go right on with the next level without any color bomb or other boosters. Yesterday, I di three levels in a row (in the 2200s) and did not receive any boosters, though I did get the gold marker on those levels for completing them with my first try. Something's not working right.

Build-A-Bot is available to New Game Levels. Each time you win a level, you move up on the rope or ladder. When you lose a level, you move one step down on the ladder. If you lose several times and fall off the ladder then you start over.

Since the introduction of the Build-A-Bot, levels are harder to beat. Sometimes the Easy (Pink) Level is extremely difficult to complete without Boosters & Power-Ups. Level 4007 is a good example of Ridiculously Hard Level, although it is not labeled Hard. You'll eventually beat it after several tries.

I finished level 4550 and waiting for new levels to be released on next Wednesday. Having build a bot is a great help to pass hard levels and please bring back build a bot to help all players!

I agree with you!! The build-a-bot specifically says that it will continue until you lose a level. I've paid a fair sum to win some really tough rounds, just so I could keep my boosters, and today when I opened the game, they were gone. I'm not going to spend ANY more money on Candy Crush, if my progress is just going to be arbitrarily thrown away. Bye-bye, King.

I would prefer to stay with the previous bot, due to the chance to go to the first levels and win the whole package of presents.
This week I had to play with no bots at all. At the 4454 level it's a little difficult.

I received the new-style Build-a-Bot on Monday, and as I was at the last level (I play on iPad), had to wait until Wednesday and the new levels to fully test it.

I have been following the various conversations over the past few months, but only now that I see the bot myself, I realize that people are in fact talking about two different things.

- building the Build-a-Bot - you can only build the bot with new levels. I.e. no possibility to go back to for example level 1, play it 7 times and have a full bot (as was possible before).

- using the Build-a-Bot - you can only use the bot with new levels. If you go back to a level you have played before, you do not have any of the bot boosters available.

I knew about the first change but the second one came as a surprise.

I can see why the first change has been implemented, especially since the new-style bot is more powerful than the old one, but what is the point of the second change? What possible problem could there be for King if people can have the bot when they play levels they have already in the past played, and completed?

I don't work for King. I pointed you to the vote thread about build a bot to vote if you are unhappy with it. It seems by reading the thread that it empties every week for some. It seems people have different versions of the game considered testing. If you are unhappy with it, please vote. Thanks!

Elsa, you know as well as I do they are not going to change it. This is King's way of getting their players to pay for boosters and gold bars.

Me too. Built my bot only to lose it. It’s just not fair.

Hi all, I also opened my game and found that Build-a-Bot was reset to the beginning again. Not sure why they did it but since they are testing this event I guess they are now testing everything. Hopefully we see a fix real soon.

Hi @bevsheridan, my Build-a-Bot was empty this morning too. It might be set on a specific time frame and when the time is up it goes back to the beginning. I also only play the new episode every Wednesday and the event sits there until the new episode comes out again. I think that this has now gone into testing so we are going to see different things until all issues with this event is resolved.

I'm afraid you're misunderstanding the question Sukanta. It always used to be, if Build-a-Bot was fully loaded, it would last. It still would be the next day, or when you exit the game, and start again after some time. People didn't have to refill it every time again. That's what this is about...

I am getting very annoyed with the new build-a-bot in candy crush! For the past three weeks I have manged to fill my bot through the new levels and then reached the highest level so then have to wait. But then you guys do your reset and it empties out so that when the new levels do come out on the following Wednesday I have to build it all over again! But the bot clearly states it will stay full UNTIL I lose a level which I DIDN'T! Bad enough you can't do past levels with the boosters that the bot has but to then take them away when the new levels come out is just wrong! I do like that when you have a full bot and loose a game only one piece of the bot goes, but emptying it out on reset days is simply UNFAIR as you aren't playing by your own rules!! You need to fix this. Play fair King!

I lost mine too. Not only that, I was #1 on Weekly Race yesterday afternoon with 41 levels completed, way ahead of my friends but I guess didn't win because I didn't get any Notification of Winning at all.

I am not happy and just like you, I am starting over on Build-A-Bot. It is hard to move up without the Build-A-Bot Boosters. The Stashed Boosters are not enough to complete the levels. Something is going on. I don't understand this at all.
