Why striped candies and other boosters are exploding sometimes without a reason?

Hi,

why in some occasions my striped candies (or wrapped candies and other boosters) are exploding without any reason? Is that a wanted difficulty or a bug?

    Is it happening to a specific level?  If so, please let me know what level and I can follow up to see if others are having the same issue.  And if that is the problem then I can elevate it to a King Admin.

    It's happening in a lot of levels .. I am playing Level 1795 right now, and its happening on PC (Linux), PC (Windows) and Android-Tablets ..And as you know, there are more threads here, reporting the same Problem in different levels.

    I will elevate it to a King Admin so that she can report it to the team.  Thanks for making us aware of this.

    I have noticed the same problem!! Mostly i have seen colorbombs explode for no reason. And it is VERY frustrating when i need them for making certain combinations. This problem has made me fail levels so many times recently...

    Hi Emilia, the King team is aware of this glitch and they are trying their best to fix it.  Hopefully it will be working better with today's new update.

    It’s now February 15, 2019 and it’s still not fixed. Happens to me all the time and I’m in the 4200’s. Ridiculous.

    I'm only in the 400s and it's happening to me constantly! Especially in the hard+ levels! It's an absolute nightmare!

    I originally thought it was due to drop height as my husband also has the issue, but it's very obviously not!

    What is going on King Team?!

    Yeah, it's now May 2019 and nothing has been done to fix this issue. I have this same maddening problem and have lost many hard levels because of Color Bombs and other boosters exploding for no reason.
    I remember when it started and for a long time kept thinking that I had inadvertently triggered a booster to explode. After a while I realized that it was the GAME wasting my boosters. 
    King has obviously programmed this on purpose to urge people to buy more boosters/chances. Shame in you King for cheating your customers. Your greed knows no bounds.
