Why would someone reinstall the Candy Crush Saga Game for 30 times? Don’t you agree that is quite excessive? There is only one place to get an iOS app and that is at the Apple Store. There is only one current version for the March 25, 2019 Update which is version 1.147.0.
There are several devices available in the market with different Operating Systems and Configurations which I believe are the reasons why you see different versions out there but for your device, there is only one.
I don’t agree with your statement that here is consistent lack of free incentives or Boosters on Candy Crush Saga. Let me start with Build-A-Bot which created a stir in this Community. It is a Booster Generator in itself. It is open to everyone who is willing to compete, enjoy the ride and accept failures because of the Degree of Difficulty attached to it. When you win a level, you get 1 Free Color Bomb to start with and the FREE Boosters in your stash multiply when you continue to complete levels one after the other in One Try. Didi or Rami (Feed Your Pet), alternately appears in the Fun Events which gives you 5 different FREE Boosters when your feeding task is completed. The stocking challenge, I believe, was a Christmas Challenge. I’ve never seen it this year. Climbing the Beanstalk comes once in a while. When it is there, you can pick from the Pink Fruits on top, giving you 30 minutes of 1 FREE Booster. It gives you an Option of climbing again in exchange for 10 Gold Bars. Let’s not forget the Dynamic Duo that requires you to Complete your assigned Task with a Partner. Once you complete it, you get rewarded with 1 hour and 30 minutes of a FREE Booster. The Daily Win (1 Sticker Per Day) gives you FREE 1 Hour of 1 Booster plus a UFO, a Color Bomb and a Lollipop by collecting 6 Stickers. There is a reason why these are not given consecutively; otherwise the ones that are timed will overlap. This is my opinion, not the company.
When you run out of moves, King gives you a chance to redeem yourself with “Watch an Ad, Get Extra-Spin" on Mobile Devices only. It is your choice, King is not forcing you to do it. The nice thing about this Wheel is, there are 3 5-Extra Moves and 1 15-Extra Moves on it so you have better chances of landing in anyone of them. I’ve had it several times so I know it is not rigged.
If you are lucky, you can get an Extra-Spin without watching an Ad. You could also get 5-Extra Moves without surrendering your Gold Bars. I’ve seen it, it not always available but it is nice to have when you are in a tight situation. These are available in Windows 10 as well. I am not sure about Facebook.
There are other single Booster Giving Features available for players as well. Looking at all of these, don’t you agree that King has been generous enough?
We have to be grateful and appreciate the FREEBIES that we get. Being mad all the time is not good for anyone’s health. There is so much hate in this world already. Let’s put a STOP on it.
I know some of you who are frustrated are encouraging players to uninstall the App and stop playing Candy Crush Saga. You can, it is your choice. If you are going to ask me, I will continue playing Candy Crush because of the Physical and Psychological Benefits players derived from playing it. My verbiage was incorrect. I did uninstall, turned off iPad, and reinstalled the game over 30 times. My point being there are different versions of this game being offered. The differences have been detailed by players in this forum alone: levels are laid out differently, some will steal a life if you exit before completing the level while others don’t, when and how you get a free booster changes, some have had build-a-bot for years - I first saw it 6 months ago before it disappeared 3 weeks ago to mention a few. What is consistent is the lack of free incentives or boosters like BAB, rami, didi, stocking challenge, beanstalk, etc. With the exception of CC (the only King sponsored game I play), when I add/install/get an app, there is one version only and if I am playing against another player, the playing field is fair.
King’s revenue is adversely affected by offering free events/ incentives/boosters, bottom line. And if they are going to continue to have pop-up advertisements (I don’t know about anybody else, but I’ve never stopped in the middle of play and thought ‘that looks like a great bra, mascara, vacation retreat, whatever is being hawked and I’m going to their website now!’), the very least King can do is offer a one time fee to players (as other games do) to rid themselves of that aggravation. It would still generate money and that, not the customer’s experience, is what they value.
I still beat over 120 levels this week, so I'm not quitting either! It still bewilders me that it was a glitch. Oh well.
At this point - after reading all the many many comments even after the issue has been closed, it is obvious this is a very touchy subject. However, it appears King will do what it wants to and proceed with their vision of the game, losing some long time fans but I’m sure they will get new ones. At least this has created a lot of dialogue and let me get to know some of the other folks in the community. I wish everyone the best whether they continue with Candy Crush Saga or go on to other games and endeavors. Personally I’m not ready to give up on CCS yet.
I have Candy Crush Soda, but I rarely play it. I'm on level 1000 something. Actually, then main reason I'm playing so much Candy Crush is because there was a glitch on Angry Birds that gave me a lot of boosters and I think they thought I was hacking, so they banned me from daily challenges. It made me mad, so King is my best friend now!😀You guys on the community are the best!
Ridiculous. The old Build A Bot had been available for several years, and NOW they decide it was just a glitch? I would rather King had continue to ignore us if they didn't want to give us the real reason.
@Carol_Martins one thing I want to share with you. Out of all this mess, I met some awesome people, like you and some others so out of negative there can always be some positive.

It was this thread and another thread in the CC Soda Saga community that has numbed me out. In Soda, they took away all the events so the players are upset that there is no way to get free boosters to play the game. I have to step back from their message because I don't have an answer to tell them. Thanks all for being so understanding. I am still here in the community and will continue helping all of you. I am just not happy with the way things turned out. 😪
I just registered to let King know how disappointed I am with not only the change, but also the disregard of players' input. I have played Candy Crush for years, and watched countless ads at every level (many at 30 seconds each) just to win boosters. I think I generated a lot of ad revenue. I thought it was especially disheartening to learn in this thread that the game is not the same for everyone. If that is true, the competition is unfair.
I have officially deleted Candy Crush and all other King games. I have since found other games with exciting content. I like gaming and it's worth it to me to buy a game outright that I can play again and again. I prefer not to be at the mercy of the developer waiting for updates and sitting through ads. I am excited to play something that doesn't have access to all my contacts - who have all different features than I do - and I will no longer have to sit through 3+ minutes of ads and commercials to "win" boosters that won't even help me.
Tomorrow I will post that screenshot of levels passed this week! @mercerik, what they mean by getting treated differently is that different people are getting different events.

I am sure you know more about life than I do because you've been there done that. I respect you for not biting my head off for not agreeing with what you said.
I don't look at things like some people do. I look at the different angles on the situations and try to understand where people are coming from. I am not agreeing 100% with the Game Changes but changes are necessary to survive in this Gaming World. Do you know that reverting back the App to the older version would be difficult and costly for King?
I never had the Old Build-A-Bot and I never go back to levels I already beat. I only move forward. Although levels are much harder this year than 2018 because moves were reduced, I realized that they are doable with patience and perseverance. I just completed Candy Crush Saga 4028 with No Boosters with 3-Star ⭐⭐⭐ and in One Try. The GOAL was to Clear All The Jellies & Collect All Ingredients! 65 Jellies & 1 Hazelnut in 30 Moves. I never thought I would beat this in One Try at all.
I know we can beat these higher levels. We just need faith and confidence in ourselves. Don't give up! Hang-in there!
Regarding your conclusion that players are being treated differently, can you be specific or at least point me to it or by adding the link to the postings?

Man, am I glad I wasn't here for the riot!😅 @Elsa, you really are amazing and I want to thank you. As for @heehawrules, me and @mercerik persevering through our game is not the only thing keeping King alive. Two people don't keep something as big as King in business.
Thank you for your trite words of wisdom. But at 65, I think I know something about life's failures and successes, having experienced some measure of both. As far as my conclusion about players being treated differently, I garnered that from reading the posts in this thread.
Many of us do not accept that they won't bring back the build a bot for past levels. People loved it and it was a highlight for years until some genius decided to "fix it". By "fixing it", they ruined the game. They ruined it, so they can undo the damage and fix it back. Listen to your customers already, King.
You said and I quote that you "exited and reinstalled the game over 30 times this week". I can see the mistake there already. You don't exit an App and re-install it. You'll have to uninstall it to take the bad part of the program out and start fresh by re-installing it. When I uninstall anything whether it is a Computer or Smart Phone, I either restart it or turn it off after the process and turn it on after 60 seconds to make sure that when I re-install the App, everything will be fresh and with no issue.
My question to you first and foremost is what device are you using?
Aspiring for the Top is great that means you are really exerting an effort to get there. In life, too much expectations sometimes lead to failures. Success is not measured by always being on top. Sometimes you have to experience difficulties to be able to achieve the greatest achievements you are trying to attain. No one is perfect in this world.
I don't know what you mean by players not treated equally because I don't see that. How did you come up with that conclusions?
I have exited and reinstalled the game over 30 times this week. Each time I get a different version. The levels are not identical, the boosters are not acquired the same but the one similarity is no build-a-bot. So accepting King has no intention of bringing it back, WTH happed to rami, didi, beanstalk and any other incentive? They explained why bab was removed due to a glitch but haven’t addressed the other ‘free’ boosters. The bottom line is the decrease in profit King experienced from gifting the boosters instead of having their customers pay. Peace out Candy Crush. I could have learned a second language in the time that I have spent on this game!

The studio appears to doing some testing with timed boosters. First a large group of people lost the ability to get regular boosters from collecting sugar drops and got timed boosters instead. Now it appears that some people are getting timed boosters for the daily calendar and some said they even get some with the daily…
Collecting Sugar Drops has been an integral part of the game and a much loved feature where players had the opportunity to collect them and earn free rewards every day. It now appears the studio plans to take it away. Please vote here if you want the studio to bring back this ability.
