Friends in Candy Crush

I have been deleting all friends that don't send lives in Candy crush. And as soon as I 'm done with how much I'm going to do in a day I'll check to see how I did and lo and behold I have up to 20+ friends I did not add. Seriously, as I was deleting them!!. And all ppl that don't even play. Like zero scores. Is this happening to anyone else? Like a dog chasing its tail!! smh

It has happened to me previously @Baldewicz, but it hasn't happened lately and never as many as twenty at a time.

A couple of months ago a few (less than five I would say) new names appeared in my Friends list. I didn't add them and I didn't receive a friend's request from them so I have no idea how they got there.

Something else I have commented on is that I don't normally receive any new friends requests, but as soon as I Unfriend players from my list I always receive requests from players asking to be my friend. The requests are always from players that are below level 500. If they show zero sent lives I don't accept their request.

I have had this multiple times now and its so annoying. The point is to have friends that will help. There were some friend requests there also and when I tried to add them it still says my friend list is full. At this point I have deleted roughly 150-200 friends. Even deleting ppl isn't changing this. I am so frustrated. Why is candy crush doing this to me? I have been playing since they started and I really like the game but maybe its time to move on
