Cannot login to facebook account on Microsoft App

I'm trying to retrieve my progress on the Microsoft Store version of candy crush by logging in with my facebook information. I receive this error, even after authorizing the login attempt on the facebook website. How else can I login?

This is not on a browser, this is using the Candy Crush app downloaded on the Microsoft Store. This is the screen that pops up from the "Retrieve Progress" button when I try to sign into facebook. I did speak with support and they suggested I reset my password, or move my progress to a king account instead of facebook. I just want to sign into facebook on the candy crush app so that I can sync my progress across all my devices.
