Candy crush app won’t update

Hi Karen! Welcome to the Community!

You have to Update your iPad iOS because it is outdated which is the reason why your Candy Crush App won't Update. The current iOS version is 12.3.1.

To update your iOS, #1 go to the iPad Settings #2 Tap General, #3 Tap Software Update, follow instructions from there and before leaving that area make sure that #4 Automatic Update is On so you don't have to worry about it next time. Just bear in mind that update starts with your Operating System. If it is not, you cannot depend that everything else will be. Not updating it is a Security Risk to your device. Below is the ScreenShot of the latest iOS Version.

Thanks for tagging me @Sukanta_Biswas. I am on my phone at the moment so I can’t get to any links until I am back on my computer.

@Karen123 I am wondering if it’s a storage problem. Do you have any apps that you don’t really use and can uninstall them to see if it is a storage issue. Try that tonight and tag me to let me know if that worked. When I am back on my computer in a few hours I will look for your answer.

In my opinion there is a way for you now. That's your device to reset.

From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > iTunes & App Store.
Do one of the following:

To sign in, enter the Apple ID and password then tap Sign In.
If needed, refer to If you forgot your Apple ID or password for assistance resetting your password.
To sign out, tap the Apple ID then tap Sign Out.

Restart your device, when the process is complete.

Update device software If there is a software glitch, you can get rid of it by installing the latest software version. A new version will improve the overall performance of your device and its security and it will also bring bug fixes. If you didn’t enable automatic updates on your device, you can see if there is an update manually

Touch Settings.

Scroll to and touch General.

Touch Software Update.

If an update is available, touch Download and Install.

Wait for the update to download.

Your Apple iPad will restart to complete the update.

Try again to app update, when the process is complete.
