Can't log in through email, but it also won't let me log out??

I'm on lvl 3305, logged in through my email, with no problems. The first week finally syncing with facebook, I get screwed.

When I start the game it says I am logged in through my email, but I am NOT. I can't roll the wheel, see events, etc. When I click the Kingdom button (or whatever it is called to log in with email) it says I am logged in.

When I click "LOG OUT" it says, "No internet connection found." I guarantee through both wifi and service, I am.

Then if I back out to the home screen and click the Kingdom button again, it wants me to log in. When I enter my password it says, "Oops, an unexpected error occurred"

And then, at the home screen if I click the Kingdom button again, absolutely nothing happens.

Can someone please help?!?

I have had this problem for at least 500 levels. I had not had time to trouble shoot. I am at level 1969. I have been logged out for 7 months. If I have to go back to 1400 or something I will give up the game. I probably should anyway, too much time. Has there been any resolution without loosing all the lives?

Hi Kyle, thanks for writing back here. I wish that you didn't have to go through all of that. What surprises me the most is that when players start playing the game they aren't informed that playing on a device and having to uninstall and reinstall the game can make you lose everything isn't posted somewhere. Everyone has to find out the hard way. I've tried blogs and King has tried blogs here but how many players actually come here for the first time just to read blogs? Well at least you are able to play the game again.

I was sick of not being able to play so I uninstalled, reinstalled, and now I can connect. I lost 20-ish levels which isn't a big deal, but I lost hundreds and hundreds of boosters and special items. It's a bummer loosing 4-ish years of saved stuff.

Thanks again for help Elsa. So I cleared the cache, turned off my phone and waited, turned it on, logged out of facebook, opened Candy Crush, and I get the same errors. Sometimes it says I'm logged in and if I click "Log Out" it says "No Internet found." and sometimes it wants me to enter my password. When I do it says "oops, an unexpected error has occured."

Hi Kyle, yes it could also mean cache, not sure about data. You won't lose your boosters from clearing the history/cache. You can lose boosters if there is a crash on your device or an operating system update or even a game update but I never heard anything about losing boosters by clearing the history/cache.

Then open the game and try to log out of Facebook/Kingdom and then log back in. These tips worked in the past but not sure if it still does work. If it doesn't then please write back because it could be a new glitch that is just starting.

Thanks Elsa. Are you saying clear my history in Candy Crush app? I could clear "cache" or "data", I'm assuming cache? And I'm assuming that makes me loose by boosters and whatnot? I have a ton of them and was hoping to keep them.
