Gold is not wasted if not used. However, there may be missing gold bars for slow internet. Let me know your game id, you will find the correct information about losing the Gold Bars.

can I ask another question?
how come there’s a difference between the SAME level ... either you are playing on you phone/iPad or computer?
I play on my phone.. I go on you tube sometimes when I’m stuck and it can be different.. even if it’s the same level we are playing.
it always seem easier on the computer.. i.e. more moves allowed... just easier in general?

This means that sometimes videos available online do not reflect the current in-game content.
