Adobe Flash Player is being replaced by the Open Platform HTML5 or Hypertext Markup Language Version 5 and will no longer be Supported nor Distributed by Adobe Flash Player by the end of December 2020. The Flash Player failed because of confusing too many versions which pose Security Risks. You should not even attempt to Update it because you don't know what version you have. Even though Google has transitioned to HTML5 long before other browsers did, it is Updating the Adobe Flash Player through its browser Google Chrome up until Flash Player's demise deadline on December 2020.

Your only responsibility to keep Candy Crush Saga fully functional is by making sure that your Operating System which is Windows 10, your Candy Crush Saga Stand-Alone App and your browser which I hope it is Google Chrome because it is the number 1 browser right now especially with HTML5 Readiness, are all Up-to-Date All The Time.

If you have had issues with Candy Crush Saga even though you have Windows 10, I would suggest that you follow the Instructions that I posted with this Topic Title: Windows 10: Fix For Candy Crush Saga Malfunctioning App with this link: https://community.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/discussion/258921/windows-10-fix-for-candy-crush-saga-malfunctioning-app#latest

Thanks!

What about us Linux Users, who visit King.com to the flash version? Will king.com switch the flash versions to HTML5 any time soon?

The Flash Player will no longer be Supported by Adobe Systems by December 2020 when it will be replaced by HTML5. By this time, every Website should have converted to this platform.

It doesn't matter which Operating System is running in your computer. As long your Browser is compatible with HTML5, you'll be OK. As a user and a gamer, our only responsibility is to keep our browser fully updated.

Last August 5, 2018, I made a video titled "Candy Crush Saga Future Gaming   |   HTML5   |   Is Your Browser Ready?" in reference to King announcing that they are converting their games on Facebook and the Kingdom to run HTML5 on desktop in preparation for 2020 when Flash Player's distribution and support are ending.

Your "Candycrushsaga.com" goes straight to King.com Website for the  Candy Crush Saga game. That Game always ASKS FOR FLASH. It never uses HTML5! EVER!!!

Currently, the Kingdom is still using the Flash Player and are working on the conversion to HTML5. Converting to HTML5 does not happen overnight.

Whether it is Adobe Flash Player or HTML5, the user's responsibility is to keep the browser current and up-to-date. Although I don't play in the Kingdom, I often visit it to see what is new. It never asks me to download and install the Flash Player. If it does on yours, maybe your browser is outdated and needed to be checked.

Nothing here fixes anything.  Seems like "keep your computer updated" was your solution.  No shit!  For those of us that do this and the game kicked us out for flash reasons, what are we to do to fix this?
  • Does this mean we can't play online anymore?

  • Never mind. My question was answered already.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
