No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

Sorry that's happening to you. The Lucky Beans in Candy Crush Saga does that to me all the time, too. I'm afraid your question might get lost in this thread, though. You may want to ask that as a separate question so it gets the attention it deserves.

Could the timed boosters stop counting down when you are playing a level? I find when I’m stuck on a level, I would go back to a level that could be beaten without boosters and build up my pack with consecutive wins. Timed boosters and unlimited lives should not continue to run while in the middle of playing a level. Just a thought....

I play for fun, no problem luck games, but buying booster and not able to use them the way you want, no way!! Sorry to stop playing at level 2981.

Actually enjoying Family Guy game. It is not a great game, the graphics are average, the gameplay often lags out and it stutters, freezes, screen goes black from time to time. Sometimes just closes up for no apparent reason mid game.

But here it is - it is much better fun and way more relaxing than candy crush for now. So I collect my CCS stuff, back out and play family guy.

Change it back King, or you will lose.

The only reply I got was a survey asking how they did when they did not even reply, so I told them. Though that is a waste of time too.

Fact remains they have had an entire week to realize what a stupid mistake this is, and they do not give a stuff about the client base. I soooo hope the whole platform just collapses from under them, they really deserve that with the contempt they have shown to people loyal for 5+ years.

King, you had a deal this week, $2.99 for some booster pack. Looking through your records, you will see I often used to buy that on a weekend and settle in to play for a couple of hours whilst watching UFC or whichever sport. Never again until you eat humble pie and admit your stupid mistake.

People - seriously, if you want this changed back - stop playing. Log in, collect the free stuff, log out. Best if you don't even play and under no circumstances buy a thing. They will only act if it all grinds to a halt, or so it seems so far. If we all did this, it would have been changed back already.

Only if you actually want it changed back. If you are one of the fools who are easily separated from their money that they are counting on to keep spending and lining their pockets, fill your boots. I reckon save it each time for when it changes back and make it useful. My 2 cents.

That‘s exactly what I‘m doing. I stacked up too many boosters in the last years to just delete the game. I‘ve not given up completely yet. But in this state, the game is simply not playable... or maybe enjoyable anymore.

My fellow players in the Fantastic Five group still play. I used to contribute a lot for reaching the team goals so I feel a little bad for letting them down and eventually being guilty when the main goal is not reached. I‘m sorry!

If King decides that this change is permanent, the only way to get me back playing would be if I could place the boosters where I want them to be. This was suggested earlier in this thread and to me, this makes sense. I don‘t see a real use in just previewing a level. Maybe a combination of both.

I still back the original request to undo the change and go back to previous state 100%!! But if this won‘t happen maybe that could be a possible way to restore part of the fun.

I have not been playing, I have lost interest unfortunately. I will not spend my time or money, it feels like such a waste.

Please King... please reverse your horrible decision and let the fun resume.

I've been playing and have fun for a long time (actually playing level 3048). With this change the game is terrible and I will not spend any other time or money on it.

I vote for more boosters thoughout the game. At least once or twice a day. And i love the beanstalk idea but again, it should be available more often. Too may purchases having to be made. Will just make the game frustrating.

This game is completely free, you shouldn’t be contemplating spending money regardless of whatever options King decides to allow or take away from us this week.

They actually programmed the useless timed boosters specifically to hinder us as those only appear at the start of the game not throughout like the regular ones.

My recommendation to you is to simply stop playing altogether while still logging on daily to spin the wheel like thousands of others until the game is restored to its previous playable state.

So, uh, just spent 6 minutes playing the game (level 2988). Would normally continue playing with boosters and maybe spend some $$$ if I was getting close, but can't see how this is possible. Even using the boosters I *do* have seems like a waste if they are not going to be beneficial for the game. Not sure what you were trying to achieve by taking away the preview, but I'm doubting "Less user time" was the end goal.

I’m in agreement with the people before me. Don’t intend to spend money when the game is digitized to take free opportunities away. I haven’t liked the timed boosters either. We have to use them or lose them and no opportunity to have them when we can play. Everyone’s life isn’t geared to play at the will of King. I have to play when I have a chance to play. I can’t sit all day to play out my timed boosters. I hope king will reconsider bringing back the restart from an I played board and offer it to android as well as IOS. Give us a nice Christmas present, bring it back to everyone.

I’m now playing exactly how King probably doesn't want me to play...

I play a level with no boosters until my 5 lives are up and then log off. No sense in buying boosters if I can’t choose my board.

I’ll keep playing. But this completely changes my game habit and certainly breaks my addiction! So, I guess I can say “thanks, King! For helping me overcome my candy crush addiction!”

Hi everyone, The last couple of days I'm not able to watch any ads (for extra moves or lives) :( did this feature disappear? I already tried re-installing the app, but after connecting the app to fb again, I lost some cassettes and still no ads :(
Frustration
why is it you’ve basically made it impossible to pass levels unless the player pays for extra moves??? This game has become a joke! I’ve played the level I’m on about 100 times and never came close to passing if??? Is this just a money grab at this point because it 100% feels that way!!!
