No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

These learnings are already helping me to understand and represent your voice and sentiment better.

I understand the situation is extremely sensitive and I totally understand that you might quit the game because you fully disagree with the latest changes brought to the game. This discussion is very difficult, there are a lot of emotions and tension involved.

At the same time, your frustration, disappointment, and concern about the final decision of the team cannot lead to disrespectful comments to my persona, nor to the people working here and nor any member of this community. Insults are not welcome in this community.

That being said, I'll insist on that part again, as soon as we have the official announcement, I'll be posting it here.

I remember this level @frenioz00. This is a horrible level! I was stuck on this level about a week ago. I felt boosters should be avoided at least in the beginning because I would always run out of possible moves before the conveyer belt came back around. One suggestion read was to avoid making large combinations (up to 4-5 matching candies) if possible.

That level is the perfect example of just pure luck and praying to the CC gods for a favorable board. If you can get to colorbombs together before the start then you have a chance. I believe I got one but it was when the conveyor came back around which was pure luck.

Hang in there and you will get passed this ridiculous level. This is another perfect example where the board reset could ease the stress in this level.

I continue to play but not as much as in the past. But more to the point there were times when I would spend money for boosters and gold bars. Not often, but enough where I was definitely paying to play. However, since the ‘fix’ where I can no longer reset the board and, even worse, lose any boosters I either paid for or worked hard to accumulate, I have not given King another penny nor will I do so until King backs out the fix.

Same - checked in this morning, backed out and when I saw lose life just closed the whole game down. My boss wonders why I'm at work so early!! ROFL Its because I don't waste 30-40 minutes every morning to start the day on this game.

Have any of you seen a more condescending and blatant lie ever? Issue? 7 years.... With constant development and changes, most of which were good until 2015, and this always slipped as an unintended issue.

I've got so much time back and never realized how much I actually wasted on this game. And extra money back in MY pocket, not in King/Activision's pockets. So all round, thanks for your lie Pouna and this terrible blatant greedy money grab King.

I see the "KING" is still being a tyrant and not answering this thread. If anyone who had brain can they are going to lose loyal customers. The FIX should be FIXED!!!!!

I read some of the other threads and the all got a response from the CM or one his minions BUT not US. It makes me think I just have on stinky clothes or something.

Please give us an answer because I am trying to move on with my life. It was there during the hard times before cancer took my husband. It was a constant companion sitting in doctor's offices, hospital, ReHab, and Hospice.

I have said what needs to be said. Now KING needs to give us an answer!!!!!!!!!!!

I beat it, but it took me...

3 tries, and on the third try:

A full set of Build-A-Bot boosts.

All three available boosters.
A couple lollipop hammers.

5 extra moves.

Brutal, but not impossible.

Level 6101 is an absolutely ridiculous hard level to play. Even with some luck for a couple of combos, I was not even close to finish that level. So without the board reset option, I am stuck without any boosters and I will now for sure stop playing the game until King fix it. What a shame! It was fun to play the game until now.

I am exceptionally unhappy to hear this. I have not been playing as much, and, as my free boosters dwindle, I will surely play even less. It has been a month now. King has made their decision. It is up to us to make ours. I know I have made mine and will not spend another penny on this game. There is a saying: Kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. I think King has done this.

I understand you’re just the messenger but this is, pure and simple, a money grab. Lose lives/boosters etc...purchase more. I’m afraid you will lose many players as was the case when this last occurred. You’re getting Greedy King.....

I’m beginning to hate candy crush
I’ve spent some $$ trying to advance but have sworn off wasting anymore money. I’ve been stuck on one level for over a week. It seems the only rewards given are when you don’t open the game for awhile
What a scam!
I’m right at the end and there’s no way I can get 3 tapes in 2 days. That’s like 300 levels 🤬
