It's not getting any easier, that's for sure! Are the timed candies dropping in your game? The timed candies are dropping but I never get enough combos to collect enough points to complete the level. Pretty much given up. This level depends a lot on luck. It's absurd to play game after game, and come away with nothing.

Wow you're doing so great to be that far in the game. I myself am not there yet but I have found this video of a player passing this level which may give you some pointers in the right direction. I hit the Jackpot as well, but the wheel said I got a pink coconut candy, or whatever it is called. The game steals my extra lives I get from other people, and level 2518, is impossible. Time to move on.

I'm packing it in at level 2290. A colossal waste of time. The level took what little gold I had, and it has a habit of taking my "extra" lives people send me. Enough of this crap.

I passed this level quite a while ago. I am at level 1966. This is a tough one as well. It seems you just have to be persistent, and you will eventually get the board that will allow you to complete the level. It sucks the way King is doing this to it's players.
