The Buddy Challenge is a fun and friendly way to gain some extra boosters without you having to change the way you play. Just keep winning at crushing and watch the rewards come in!
How does it work?
The Buddy Challenge puts a fun goal for you and your fellow Candy Crush Saga buddy and recognizes and rewards your efforts by delivering a bundle of goodies to you both if you meet the task set by the challenge.
How do I take part?
When the Buddy Challenge is active in your game, you'll be assigned a buddy and a daily task to meet, so you know who and how those sweet treats can be won.
You can always change your buddy once every 6 hours if you would like to play with someone new. If 6 hours have passed since the last buddy was allocated, you'll see a button in the top-left corner of the challenge pop-up. Tap it and a new buddy will be introduced!
Privacy and the Buddy Challenge
When you play our games, you have an option to create a King account and add personal information to it, including by connecting to a third party social network account (such as Facebook). In our Privacy Policy, we explain what data we can get, how we might use it and that in some instances this will be visible to your friends and other players anywhere in the world, such as in features like the Buddy Challenge where you can play socially with other players.
We're currently looking at options within the Buddy Challenge which include the ability to turn this challenge off in the game. If you'd like to read more about this, please follow these steps on a mobile device :
- Open Candy Crush Saga - DO NOT tap on Play
- Tap on the Pink Gearwheel in the bottom left corner.
- Tap on the Green wheel button to open the "Settings " menu.
- Scroll down until you find a yellow ? symbol "Help Center"
- Select the ‘What is the Buddy Challenge event?’
Don't forget that you will have the option to change your Buddy every 6 hours after each previous change, so you can always switch around to find your perfect playing partner.
