How do I connect or save my progress on laptop?

It seems everyone keeps saying I have to connect to the kingdom to save my progress but I don't see a way to do that? I play on facebook (the site NOT the app) so how do I save my progress? My new laptop starts me back at 1 even though I am logged in to the same facebook account from my old laptop

How are you getting an error message to log into the Kingdom if you are playing the game directly through your Facebook page?  Do you still need help with this?

I did eventually figure it out, I had to log out of everything and log back in to see the connection, thanks
