I played the bonus and beat all 5 boards but the last board showed I was short by 1 and I wasn't o screen shot it

I am assuming you are talking about the Bubble Gum Hill event! And the last level where you have to spread the Purple Jam, you saw the pop-up that one tile was left, hence you lost the level!!

I know what must have happened as recently figured out why I was loosing this when I spread the jam on the tiles....

** The reason is, there is another tile hidden in the middle of the board! We have to clear the ice with 3 or 4 moves first, then it will be open to spread the jam. You can send in a Fish or a Striped Candy to spread jam on that tile too!

That's what you and I were missing, and loosing the level. If you have already figured it out, great. If not, good luck with your next trial 👍️
