Want to re-register by email, not Facebook

I have played this game on and off for years, and it has not required me to be logged into Facebook to do so. Recently, it required that I either Sign In with Facebook or Register with Email. Well, I stupidly chose FB and now I cannot seem to change back. I do not want my FB friends to be my 'friends' on this game. If I 'hide' my progress from them via FB settings, I have no one to compete with in the games -- I'm always the top and only scorer for each level. Ugh. If I want to request lives, it's only to my FB friends. Before I signed in via FB, I had a load of other friends (none that I knew in person). I want to return to that anonymity but how? When I log out of FB, the game takes me back to level one when I'm actually on level 2299. I have to sign back into FB to get to my proper level. I am not enjoying the game nearly as much now. Is there a way to correct my sign in and just register via email AND keep my progress in the game? Thanks!
