Black screen of death

I’m using an Apple I pad to play and within the last month every time I click on the video tab for a booster or extra moves I get a black screen and have to turn my I pad off and turn it back on. I don’t get the extra moves or the booster which is very annoying. Can you guys sort out an update to fix this problem. Looks like quite a few people are having this problem.
