I am very sorry to hear about the issue in your game!
Did you have any internet connection issue while purchasing the lives? Sometimes, weak WiFi connection on our side can cause this! But, no need to worry at all. All you have to do is to contact the Player Support Team, as the Community Team does not deal with any Purchase issues.
You can send the complaint to Player Support Team directly from your game itself. Click on the Settings (the gear wheel icon) -- Look for "Purchases" option -- scroll all the way down and click on "Contact Us".
Fill out the form that appears and click on Submit. You will receive an automated response as an acknowledgement. Please give them 3 - 5 days to hear back from them, and feel free to send a reply through that automated email to give them a heads-up that you are still waiting for their assistance.
Everything will work out fine, but, you will have to be a bit more patient. We do not know how busy the Support Team is! So, if you do not receive immediate replies, please don't get frustrated AND most importantly, do not send multiple requests. Because, that will not do any good.
