What device are you playing on? I think you might have to uninstall the game. But first try log out, clear cache/turn off device, check for latest update, and then log back in.
you may lose your boosters if you uninstall the game.

If you want to try uninstall and install steps, you have your gold bars are saved/transfered but all of the boosters have lost and some events will be reset and gone.

If this is the error you are receiving below unfortunately the only fix for this at the moment is to uninstall and reinstall the game, but in doing this if it is a mobile device you will lose any stored boosters or lives
