How is the days determined?

How is the time determined for the number of consecutive days played?? I like to challenge myself be the number of consecutive days I play ( so far 67 Oahu days is my highest But I’m really bothered when. I am on every day and it brings me back to day one. I played thru Sunday evening into the night til approx 2 or 3 am possibly 4am Monday morning. This morning (Tuesday). I went to play and Im back to day one. Frustratingly disappointing
And the candy I collect pieces for. I thought that you use it to get you Thru a hard level as an example so you use it and basically completed that particular level. Nope, it doesn’t. Wasted using it for nothing and still stuck on the same level

Hello @SquirrellyTree for the daily bonus reward incase u miss a day u have to start over; meaning day 1 again 😐. So make it a point to atleast login everyday even if u don't play so u don't miss out on the day count!
To answer the 2nd question. The pieces u collect is i suppose for the supersonic lolly. 3 pieces make a whole lolly. When u collect a piece u can see a golden bar next to it that keeps diminishing with each level u lose. So to retain it, if you are losing too many levels and u don't want to lose the piece if lolly its best to play a past easy level so the golden bar can be filled to its max again.

Hi @SquirrellyTree using the lolly diesnt always guarantee winning the level. The lolly is best when there are blockers or it is a spread the jelly level or clearing gum. It cant help you if it is a case for popping the bottles that have to drop. Or clearing blockers that have other blockers underneath.
In such difficult levels i usually recommend the other boosters plus swedish fish. Hope that helps
