Soda Essence token are drops icons that can be collected along with supersonic lolly pieces when you complete quests. When you claim them, your Soda map changes, meaning your Whaffle Warf background changes so you'll be able to explore the map through these changes.
You're supposed to be in Drought Season still, since this season theme will last till September 1. Once you completed the pass and claimed all your quests prizes, your map - whaffle warf scenery - will be upgraded to the fullest 🤗

I only collected three of the red drops from the quests. I also bought the deluxe quest prizes thinking I’d find the other two in there. I didn’t. My quest tab still says quest completed. My screen still shows the usual background.
I received the three drops in the 2nd, 5th and 9th reward. I do keep up with the updates too.
I did collect lolly pieces too, am I supposed to use them to reach the point where she explores the what and my screen changes?

Regarding Drought Season: I completed lots of quests and received all the "Free" rewards. I was grateful to receive gold bars as the last free reward. The Wonderballs are fun, but I am always disappointed to receive boosters with time limits, especially when the "Deluxe" path rewards are not timed. I know that this is an incentive for players to spend money, but it is a disincentive for those who don't spend money on games.
