Community maneger told developers are looking into it beside this, I'm not able to give you a timeframe until I hear back them unfortunately. Plus developers are not on office at weekends.
But I can send reminders and more information when players keep on reporting this on the community
Thank you for trying to reconstruct your day to the point of hours and minutes, it helps undertand if a day was actually missed.
If more than 24 hours pass between log-in Time A and log-in Time B and a day is missed then there shouldn't be a glitch, the streak is broken and the daily bonus feature is working as intended. If less than 24 hours pass and a day is reportedly missed then it looks like a glitch, which seems the case of @moscreations if I understood correctly.
This is what community manager told me:
the Daily Bonus has not changed (apart from the addition of using GBs to claim a day if you missed one) for years. The way the Daily Bonus works is not super clear and can cause issues from how it works.
The way it works is that the time depends on when you login. So let's say I login at 15:00, claim my daily reward - then the daily 24hrs start at 15:00 and resets at 15:01 the next day. If a player for example logs in
Day 1: 15:00
Day 2: 14:00
Day 3: 15:00
This would mean they miss a day when signing in again at Day 3.
@jennylynnteal case of game resetting the streak despite paying to restore it is another story but I haven't been able to have news about this
In case this error happens again, may I ask you to keep track of the time you open Soda app each day and see if the app shows the same error again if less than 24 hours pass between 2 days log-ins? And report them here. Thanks

Yes to answer your question about me. As well, I don't have the 9 gold required, if I was over the 24 hour mark, and despite me choosing to use something I don't have, it goes ahead and let's me play, I suppose if I did have the 9 gold pieces it would take them?!?!? It does continue to happen, but as if today I will try to remember to write down the times I open the game.

Is there anything that can be done about the fact that I did pay the nine bars and it still reset the game? Especially since it was a purchase and not just an earned reward? But I have played in the past at 6 AM one day didn’t say 11 PM the next day and perhaps back to 6 AM the third day without it creating any kind of lost days. It seemed as long as you logged in during that day before midnight it continued your days. So if that’s something different that is a change to the game.

And here is what is happened yesterday and today. It is currently 8:18pm ET
I played the following date & hour
March 17 1:36 pm, March 17 5:41 pm
March 18 9:25 am, March 18 7:52 pm
This last time, I was playing and finally after days and days on end trying to get through level 625, I finally got it and moved on or tried to move to the next level, but what do you know!!!! I got the same message at 8:10 pm, even though I had been playing for over an hour. That should tell you the problem lays with the game and not the players or anything else. Getting real annoying and I am borderline about to give up on this game and just uninstall it altogether.
