Helloooo from the darkness here in the King office! Despite it being November and dark in this region, we hope to spread some light and hope with the Gifting Games season! πβ¨ So this contest will be a bit kinder than the previous one that I hosted...
We're going a bit more off-topic than usual, but it's the season of giving, so why not? Read more below! π₯³π
For this contest, we're really just asking you one thing...
- Tell us about a gift that you've received that you treasure! πβ¨ Five (x5) lucky winners will be randomly chosen to win 25 gold bars each!
That's right, it's time to look at what we all have, and appreciate the things that have been given to us. Feel free to share a picture of your gift, but make sure to follow the House Rules by doing so!
Since this contest is a kind one, there won't be a "best gift" or anything similar, simply sharing a story is good enough for this time.
The contest will end on Friday, the 24th of November at 5PM CET.Β

I have received many gifts in my life, I treasure each and every gift that I received. However, the most I treasure is a hand knitted jumper from my aunt who lives in Canada. ( I live in UK) She knitted the jumper for me while looking after my uncle. They ate in their 80s. My uncle died last year just before Christmas . While nursing my uncle in his sick bed, my aunt knitted the jumper with her arthritis fingers. My uncle said he would love to see me wearing it when itβs finished. She said the knitting kept her going because knitting is her hobby. She always wanted to knit me one for Christmas because I am the only one who never received a knitted item from her. When she finished my jumper, she had to take two buses to post it in the post office. After I received the parcel in the post. I sent my aunt a thank you card but then my cousin, her son told me in facebook that my uncle had passed away. I canβt send my aunt a Christmas card this year to wish her a Merry Christmas, but I have sent her a card saying β thinking of you at this festive season.β
My only regret is my uncle never saw me wearing itβ¦β¦.

The gift that touched me the most was a simple wardrobe given to me by my 12-year-old son on Fatherβs Day this year.
Although it was cheap, he assembled it himself. When I saw it, I felt a warm current in my heart.
Well, next time he is naughty, I'll just pretend I didn't see it, haha.
