This is a new feature, and a small group of players can test it.
I donβt have much info, but what I understand is; you get coins by playing new levels. Harder levels grants more coins. With the coins you can feed the bear so it will grow and you will be rewarded with a wonderball.
I just tried it out in my game, and from my screenshot it shows that I have to feed the bear 10x with 20 coins to make it grow 1 stage. At the very end I can claim the wonderball and then (I think) I will enter the next stage.

I'm sorry for my delay in responding to your comment recently in December last year! About this event, I had just found out about this strategy of passing new levels and earning even more bear coins to buy chocolate bars to feed this Gummi Bear and win Wonderballs!
And this was said during my holiday while playing this pop-up event in my game when I had already completed all of Gummi Bear's growth categories!

The stars used to grow islands are full and I'm not being presented with the options for additional islands. Happened after a recent update.
I log on every morning to get daily rewards. Today it said i missed yesterday (wrong) and started me back on day one again. This has happened multiple times. please debug and fix!!
for the umteenth time I play bake a cake and just as we are close to finishing getting the top two prizes, progress goes away and start a new bake arrives. I can see in inbox that cake is backed and I participate in helping back, but havenβt received top prizes in last multiple times
