Though opinions may vary, a sudden fracture does not lead to swelling or intense pain; the discomfort eases as the tendons and ligaments settle. So not a tablet person, now that I have to take I am getting so may side effects. They have chopped and changed so much. I had pain meds before that were great, now they are not, only take if really bad, but have other affects.

Exactly!! I have kidney disease and refuse pain medication even for broken bones 😂
