Played before button not responding
I got a new phone, so I reinstalled the candy crush soda app. I click on "Played before?" to connect my saved progress, and the button doesn't respond. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, no change. I opened up my phone settings>apps and cleared cache and data, and still the button is unresponsive. Is there anyway to recover my saved progress where I'm around level 4300, or am I stuck having to start all the way over at level 1?

Thanks. So I got a reply and the only solution (work around) right now is try to update the Android System Webview :
- Go to settings > apps and select Chrome application.
- Tap on Disable (this will disable the chrome browser)
- Go to Google PlayStore and search for webview
- Tap on Android System Webview in the search results.
- Tap on Update. (This will update the webview)
- To verify the webview version , Go to settings > apps > Android System Webview > version.
- Re-enable the Chrome; Go to settings > apps and select Chrome application. Tap on Enable (this will enable the chrome browser)
A fix will be there in due course, but I don't when. Hopefully the work around will work.
Or you could continue playing on your old device š

Iām sorry to hear this! Iāve seen other reports and we were told please try to force close the app, restart your device and try to log in. You may have to repeat this a few times.

I am sorry you have this problem. Could you check and let me know what version of the game you have? (Check your AppStore/Google Play) What kind of new device are you playing the game on (make and model please) For Android Settings- About Phone - (for example Model number SM-695F) For iPhone Settings -General -About - (for example Model number MRY42QL/A)
Also did you save the game using a King account or Facebook account? Last but not least, what is your Player ID? ClickĀ HERE how to find it.

Of course, and thank you so much for your reply and for trying to help me recover my progress, I appreciate it so much!
App version is 1.267.4
Phone information:
Moto g stylus 5g 2023 and android version 13. I saved my progress via Facebook. I can't get to my player ID, as my profile won't load and when I tap on Played before nothing comes up, only options that come up are in the attached screenshot. If I try to click on any of the buttons other than the sound and music ones, they don't respond so I can't access anything related to my profile to then click on the King logo. Is there any other way to access my player ID since I don't have an option for my profile in the app?
