Seems to happen every few levels, particularly when I especially don’t want it to crash. Tried to ask a question before but was referred to the Help Center guide on this issue; which I’d already read and gone through the steps

Hi @MossKing it actually seems to be due to your device. I have read on the Internet that after updating the Apple devices to version 17.5.1, problems with the Internet connection, battery consumption and app performance occur. This can lead to the problems you described. However, it's not because of the Candy Crush Soda Saga app.

If you don't have another device, you should check with Apple when there will be an update that fixes these issues.

I am having the same problem. I lost a couple of hours of boosters and gold bars. Keep getting the run around.

Still the same issues. Tried everything in the support article multiple times to no avail. Most of the freezing happens mid-level. Completely frustrating

Hi @MossKing @jja1968 warm welcome to our community at Candy Crush Soda Saga.

Have you completed the following steps and have enough storage space and a stable internet connection:

Updates: Make sure you have the latest game and device updates
Memory: Do you have sufficient memory on your device? King recommend having at least 2GB free. If you have less than this be sure to free up some memory to enable the game to run as smoothly as possible.
Cache: Clear cache in Android: go to settings - tap on apps - tap on candy crush soda - tap on storage - tap on clear cache (not data!)
Restart: Force close all open apps and restart your device. Leave it switched off for at least 10 seconds, then turn it on again.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any help.

I have all app and device updates.
I have at enough storage for at least a dozen more apps.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing (iPhone so no cache)

I restart the device several times a day.

None of these have made any difference?

Hi @MossKing it is strange indeed. The measures have always helped me. Which game and platform do you mean? Can you show me some screensots that illustrate your problem?

I play Candy Crush Soda Saga on iPadOS. The screen will freeze like this, then after several minutes of not responding, the app will quit and I will lose all progress

Hi @MossKing can you please tell me which iPad you are using? I play on Android (different versions) and I've never had crashes or freezes. Therefore, I suspect it is your device and I will be happy to inquire which iPad devices are supported.
