Trouble Logging in with Facebook
I recently reinstalled candy crush on my phone, but it will not let me connect to my Facebook account. Instead it keeps directing me to download the latest version of Facebook, which I did, but it is still keeps redirecting me to get the Facebook app. I looked at my Facebook settings and it is allowing sharing with candy crush so I’m not sure what to do next. Help! I’ve been playing for years and don’t want to loose my progress!

- Swipe down and tap Safari.
- Swipe down again and tap Clear History and Website Data, tap it once again to confirm.😊

@Lydia210 I not had the problem of this but with connecting to the game through Facebook. It was only when i got the Facebook app for iphone and logged into it that it would allow me to connect to the game . Looking at your message it might be worth adding the Facebook app to your iphone and log in then try the game.

Are you trying to connect the game to Facebook for the first time?
You need to make sure you have logged in to Facebook on the app on your phone (Latest version) - Restart device and try to connect the game.
If the problem is the same, you need to clear the cache data from Game App.(Android) - Open game and try to connect.

Thanks for responding. No, it is not the first time I’ve connected to Facebook with the app on my phone. I’ve done it several times with no problems, but this time it didn’t give me the option to connect with my Facebook account, instead it is acting as if I don’t even have the Facebook app on my phone and keeps directing me to the iTunes App Store. Like it doesn’t recognize I already have Facebook on my phone. Can I delete cookies/cache from my iPhone like they do on the android phones?

Ok, so I deleted a lot of old texts, pics and apps I wasn’t using anymore and then went back and tried again. It worked!!! 😀 I guess I just needed space on my phone 🤷🏻♀️ I am beyond ecstatic because I’m on level 4217 and was about to cry if I had lost my progress. Thank you soooo much everyone for help! Now if only I could consolidate my progress from Facebook to the new profile I made through my email that would be awesome! But I’m happy now so not gonna stress it 😁

Slow internet, Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.
Reset / Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
