popping single bubbles in Alpha Betty

I am on level 18 and there are single bubbles in the game and I do not know how to pop them. I cannot find any answers in the support and cannot move on until I sort this problem out.

When you make a four letter word it will create a crown that you will see on a letter somewhere on the board. When you make a word with that letter the crown will help you achieve your goals. In this case once enough bubbles are popped in the top half the crowns will start popping the bubbles below. Check out my Alphabetty level 18 video to see what I mean. Hope it helps, good luck.
