Not getting credit for a 9 letter word

I have been playing alphabetty saga.  I am on level 101.  THREE times tonight I have made a 9 letter word.  The board highlights the 9 letter word in the goals area then only gives me credit for a 6 letter word.  What's up? I am using the crowns to get credit for extra letters.  I noticed in another question that there is a chat feature but I cannot find it.  It is frustrating enough to try to get a 9 letter word but then to not get credit for it!!!!!

I have had the exact same problem, going back to level 47 or so. The 6-letter credit will light up, but then the crown letters will not count extra like they should.

I don't know the answer but the same thing has happened to me.  Twice I have gotten 9 letter words on level 101 and have not gotten credit for it.   I am fed up.  I'm tired of being stuck on a level I beat over a  2 weeks ago.  Please fix this...

I've got some good news Pat, I've just got confirmation from the studios that the issue with the crowns has been fixed!!!
