Level 40, I have used the right number of letters and sometimes nothing counts, sometimes it does? C

Cannot figure out why some words don't count even if they are the right count. Sometimes they do, other times they don't, no rhyme to it.

Don't forget that a tile with vines will not be included in the total, if one of the tiles in your chosen word has vines on it, it will subtract one from the total letters, also blank tiles don't count in the total either.

On the other hand, if on the left you see one of the word counters highlighted in green when you've highlighted a word, and once you make it doesn't award it, then you could be having a similar issue to the one people had playing on Facebook.
