Level 1

I don't understand what the hammer is used for or how to use it. When I place the hammer over a tile it doesn't do anything. I also am confused about the vine tiles and mousetraps

The hammer is used to destroy any tile you wish, once you have chosen your tile, you just need to click on the green tick above the game board to confirm it and it will destroy it. Same thing happens when using the line blaster tile, once you have chosen a tile to place it on, you need to confirm it by clicking on the green tick.

Vines and mousetraps are known as blockers, for example a vine on a tile will prevent that tile from disappearing when used in a word, it only frees the tile from the vine and will only disappear of the board the next time the tile used. The important bit to remember is that a tile with vines on will not count into the tally of letters, for example a 5 letter word will be counted 4, a 4 letter word as 3 and so on.

Mouse traps on the other hand move around the board every time you make a word, their purpose is to block tiles to make things a little trickier, but there ways to remove them. If they get caught in the way of a lines blaster path, they'll be destroyed for example, and also sometimes by crowned tiles (if it targets them that is).Hope that helps clear the confusion a little :)
