How do I use the letters in bubbles on the sides in level 46?

I don't understand how to pop the bubbles on the right and left sides of the main block of letters in level 46. How do I use those two letter blocks to make words?

The only way to pop those is if they get caught in the way of a Line Blaster or if you've generated a crowned tile by making a 4 letter word and then made a word with it to activate it. The crowned tiles always help with the mission objective so in this one they will pop bubbles for you PattyG.
