i have 1700 messages on my ipad on Alphabetty but when i click it boots me from the game

tried on my laptop and the message icon is dark and will not allow me to open to get rid of them. i may aswell just block the game

The lives you have don't transfer between devices so this won't be affected. 

I read in another thread that having a load of lives or boosters stored can affect the way the game runs so it's probably not the best idea to have them all stored up. I would get rid of them of all and restart your tablet. This will free up some memory as well which will also help.
