Cuts words short

Why does this game cut my words short when trying to highlight a long word???  Eg  When highlighting SPENDING it cut off at SPEND.  Very, very frustrating!!!

    I hate to say it but I suspect that this has everything to do with your technique and nothing to do with the game. When a word doesn't come up as expected roll back and start again.
