alphabetty 273 - completed categories are reset

when completing a requirement, e.g. six 5-letter words, a green check mark is received. However, at the next turn that category reverts back to one word still needed. Doesn't matter which category or how many times I re-receive the green check. It still reverts back to "1". I restarted my iPad and it still happens.

Same is happening for me on level 226.  Sorry not very helpful but you are not the only one.
