Why does AlphaBetty Saga have 2 different versions of level 187?

Level 1

I'm on Level 187 calls for collecting 8 cheese chunks.  All the tutorials I've found for help for this same level are for spreading cheese.  Why are there two different versions of level 187?  Does anyone have a tutorial for this level that requires collecting 8 cheese chunks?  If so, please share link.  Thanks.

The level must have been modified at some point, when I passed it it was still spread the cheese. I had a look but can't find a recent video post of someone completing the level with the new objective, sorry!

It's not at all unusual for levels to be changed for any number of reasons. In this case it has definitely made it a lot harder. I've been struggling with it for the last few days after one of my 'friends' beat my top score and I've completed it just once out of twenty or more attempts. I think that Liberty Mouse is probably the best artifact to start with, and you should try to clear entanglers etc. from the top to get the cheese moving as quick as possible. Also take every opportunity to drop the cheeses from the board even if it's just a three letter word to keep new ones entering. Beyond that I'm afraid it's just a question of appeasing whatever gods, demons, or anthropomorphic manifestations of luck you most trust in the hope of getting a reasonable assortment of letters. As I suggested earlier, it doesn't happen often!
