Why is there now a day counter on Alpha Betty Saga? Any benefits?

Why is there a day counter? I am guessing that it is the number of days that one has logged into the game, and not how long one is on a level (as I completed levels 801-810 yesterday).

What platform? I don't have it on Android (also at 810, with a spotless 3 stars on every level!)

I have the counter too. I play on my Android phone, a Galaxy S6 edge+. It's funny to see that I've been playing for 3 days. I think it's more like 3 years. I've passed 810 also. Waiting for more. Love this game!

Hey IEEEgal, S6 edge (not +) myself, still no counter. Guess it will pop up sometime when the feature is rolled out to all players!

the day counter seems to be a mystery for players
... perhaps someone from king can enlighten us
... after all it has been over 2 months
... let's hope it has a very meaningful purpose
... we hear how busy the programmers are on AB
... if this is just fluff perhaps the programmer
for the day counter has nothing better to do and
is available to work on improving AB

The day counter seems very buggy. Would like an explanation of what it's realy tracking. Is there a certain number of puzzles you need to complete every day? If it's just days played, what time does it reset? I play every morning at breakfast. I get to about 10 and it resets

As far as I can tell, it just increments by 1 every consecutive day played. Time for checking is midnight for me. Never miss a day's play since it came on, 085 as of now.
