I'am playing in french Alphabetty
When I search a 3 letters word with no U inside, and discover the response is QUEL, I feel mocked, like tou make fun of us.
Why do you group QU ?
would you at minima please consider telling us it's a 4 letters word ?

I am sorry you feel mocked @HeterOdoxe

I can explain QU in the English version

perhaps someone who speaks French can explain more about QU in French

    ............................
    the English story:
for most words in English a Q is followed by a U
king has made Q more playable in English by including the U
QU counts as one letter in the English version ... QUEL would be a 3 letter word
the English version will display a crown when attempting to make 4-letter

  • Hi @HeterOdoxe !

In some languages like English, French and Spanish for example the letter "Q" is always written with a "U" after. That's why those two letters always appear in the same tile.

If "Q" would appear alone in the tile, it would be useless you have a tile with "U" next to it. "QU" is counted as one letter since it's one tile. Therefore the word QUEL is a 3-letter word since it's three tiles.

Languages where "Q" can be used together with any other letters the letter will appear by itself and languages where "Q" is not used at all more than in foreign names, the letter won't appear at all.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
