Why do I have to keep turning off the music each and every time I enter the game?

Each and every time I enter the game site I have to turn off the music, which is so hideous I get nauseous listening to it. It is so distracting.  I should be able to turn the music off and have the game remember, right?  I mean it logs that I have come back and adds another number to the days played, so it has the capability.

you seem to have a unique problem

am not sure that I can help

however ... @Crazy Cat Lad looks at the community during the week and may be able to help

until then ... you might try a different device or try a different browser

if you can post the device you are using and anything else you have tried it might help

The sound and music settings should stay as you left it last time you played. Furthermore we are not able to reproduce this issue that you have.

Please try with reinstalling the game and see if it helps:

-First, remove the game from Facebook here:
https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications

-Clear the cache and cookies on your browser

-Close the browser

-Reinstall the game

yesterday ... chrome firefox gameroom and a tablet worked fine

today the music setting was reset with chrome ... and ... lives were reset to zero on chrome

... afternoon update: the music stayed off and the lives are back on chrome

more testing since Oct 7th ... the music has stayed off with chrome firefox gameroom and a tablet

it appears that the incident on Oct 7th was only a temporary condition

a guess ... the facebook login did not work properly with chrome that day

David ... are you still seeing the problem with the music setting?
