Sending and receiving lives

As of a month I am not able to receive lives nor send them. How do I do activate this option again?

Are you playing on mobile? Is the Lives to and from Facebook friends?

If so, please make sure the game is properly connected to your Facebook and then  make sure the game has access to your friends list on Facebook. Check here how to make sure the access is enabled.
